JS Tasks End-of-life

We created JSTasks in late 2015 as a way to enable custom server-side scripting for applications on our platform. JSTasks has stayed in private beta and was never publicly released. We had great success with JSTasks in many applications, but our design had some fundamental limitations that prevented wider adoption.

Early in 2017, we released CloudCode as a rewrite and a public replacement for JSTasks. CloudCode offers the same functionality with significantly improved reliability, security, and performance, in addition to many new features. Since the release of CloudCode, JSTasks has been deprecated.

JSTasks has now reached its end-of-life, and the service will be shut down on 15 January 2019. We recommend migrating all JSTasks code to CloudCode well before this date to avoid any disruptions.
